Le proiezioni alla Casa del Cinema il 7 e l’8 ottobre

Si sono chiuse le selezioni delle opere candidate alla prossima edizione di Mototematica, il festival cinematografico dedicato al mondo della motocicletta in programma il 7 e 8 ottobre p.v. alla Casa del Cinema di Roma.

Quindici i lavori prescelti, tra cortometraggi e lungometraggi – sia documentari che opere di finzione – che provengono da diverse parti del mondo. In concorso verranno proiettati  The ICECAKE di Manoj Mauryaa (India), The Antique Motorcycle di Stephen Marino (Stati Uniti), Day 9th of 13 days ride in Rajasthan and Gujarat, India in 2023 di Aigars Liepins (Lettonia), The Ultimate Mongolian Expedition di Antoine Janssens (Svizzera), Bad Dog di Erin Malfi (Stati Uniti), Scintille di Alessio Zoni, Elena Monti, Giulia Trabucchi (Italia), Boogeyman and Bucephalus in Iraqi Kurdistan di Francesco Loreti (Italia), Aymen – Don’t think, just do it! di Aarif Laljee, Michael Morris (Gran Bretagna), Lone Wolf di Giovanni Montagnana (Italia), Only Fire di Neel Kumar (Emirati Arabi), Motorcycle Stories “Sardegna storie di un’isola” di Fabrizio Nacciareti, Alessandro Toscano (Italia), !PRONTO! (ITA) di Veen Viscal, Onward di Gabriel Davini (Brasile), On Any Other Sunday di Shaun Fenton (Gran Bretagna), Cafe Racer di Harrison Houde (Canada).

“Come sempre – afferma la direttrice artistica Benedetta Zaccherini – tantissimo materiale è arrivato da ogni parte del mondo e come sempre la selezione è stata difficile, soprattutto per l’alta qualità dei progetti presentati. Siamo orgogliosi di poter essere arrivati alla 5° edizione del nostro festival registrando anche un crescente numero di nazioni coinvolte, segno che la tematica delle due ruote e il cinema sono un connubio molto apprezzato. Per questo vogliamo farci conoscere a un pubblico sempre più ampio offrendo opere in anteprima gratuitamente a tutti e utilizzando la magia del grande schermo che solo una sala cinematografica può regalare”.

Screenings at the Casa del Cinema on 7 and 8 October

The selections of the candidate works for the next edition of Mototematica, the film festival dedicated to the world of motorcycles scheduled for 7 and 8 October have closed. at the Casa del Cinema in Rome.

Fifteen selected works, including short films and feature films – both documentaries and works of fiction – which come from different parts of the world.

“As always – says the artistic director Benedetta Zaccherini – a lot of material arrived from all over the world and as always the selection was difficult, above all for the high quality of the projects presented. We are proud to have arrived at the 5th edition of our festival, also registering a growing number of countries involved, a sign that the theme of two wheels and cinema are a much appreciated combination. This is why we want to make ourselves known to an ever wider audience by offering free previews of works to everyone and using the magic of the big screen that only a cinema can offer”.
