“TRACKERS”

“TRACKERS”

by Francis Wallis

As Francis Wallis tells us about “Trackers”: “I have always had a passion for motorcycle culture, that strange bond that is created between man and machine and the freedom that it represents for them. For this film I wanted to deepen that primitive emotional response that comes from speed, from how it transcends age, a common bond shared by all bike enthusiasts from your amateur fat monkey to the cutting-edge and high precision of the professional rider. from which I have always been attracted and which I wanted to explore in a short piece of passion”.

“As soon as we finished shooting a video in Los Angeles, I thought I would make the most of my three days off, making contact with Perris’ track with the intention of documenting one of their pilots. professional called Jeff Johnson, and when I met him, I realized that he represented everything I was looking for, someone who would never let go of the thrill of running, the dependence of speed even if life was speeding towards his last years. young contemporary actor and current Armstrong and we spent an incredible evening capturing incredible footage of the two as they ran on the track “.

“I knew our voice needed that American nod and I felt that the use of poetic interpretation was the best way to ensure that this film was authentic and real.”
